As I was looking at the pictures in the photo album, something struck me. Bettie Page would have been great as Xena, Warrior Princess!
What do you think?

Fri, September 23, 2005 - 8:29 AMAbsolutely! Hot, sexy and strong as hell. I think she may have been part of the inspiration...at least for the Xena look, don't you? -

Re: Xena
Fri, September 23, 2005 - 8:34 AMYes. If you think about and look at photos of both of them, Lucy Loveless is just a larger version of Bettie, just not quite as beautiful! -

Yeah, there's definitely some Betty influence there.

Re: Xena
Thu, April 5, 2007 - 11:21 PMWhen Xena was popular there was a magazine article I read that claimed Lucy Lawless was starting trends with her raven black hair and shairt straight cut bangs! As if the trend was started by her!!!!!!! -

Re: Xena
Wed, April 11, 2007 - 11:51 AMThey probably meant the hairstyle came back in style / became trendy again due to the popularity of Xena.

Re: Xena
Sat, March 31, 2007 - 7:41 AMNo way is Lucy Lawless "larger" than Bettie Page, they're both have the basic physique; extremely curvy, tall, voluptuous, leggy, exotic, etc. And I think Lucy is beautiful in her own right, what with her bright blue eyes. They looked especially amazing when she dyed her hair Black.

Re: Xena
Sat, March 31, 2007 - 7:42 AMNo because Lucy Lawless is the one and only Xena. She made that character. Theres more to it than just raven hair and fringe you know. So no, I can't imagine Bettie (or anyone for that matter) playing Xena.
